Monday, 2/24/25: Talking about what’s on my radar
Happy Monday!
It’s a new week, which means it’s time for your next Monday motivation newsletter.
Read on below for some steps to a happier Monday and some positive thoughts to get your week started.
Three Steps to a Happier Monday
Each newsletter starts with three prompts to inspire gratitude and simple intention setting. Take a moment and jot down answers to these three questions. To give an example, I share my answers below.
Step 1: What are three things I appreciated from the weekend?
Step 2: What is one thing I can be excited about today?
Step 3: What is my intention for this week?
GRATITUDE: I’m thankful for catching up with my parents, time to relax and having fun trying a new recipe Saturday night!
TODAY: I’m most excited to try out my new headphones while working today.
INTENTION: My intention this week is to plan March & the spring season.
Okay, your turn! And if you want to share your three steps, I am all ears. 🙂
On My Monday Radar
Each Monday, this newsletter rotates between featuring personal reflections & essays and a round-up of links, recommendations and other positive things on my radar. If you are looking for some content to ease into your week with, take a look through the links below! Hope you enjoy:
- I finished Good Dirt by Charmaine Wilkerson last week and loved it. Charmaine is also the author of Black Cake, a book I also was captivated by. I love Charmaine’s writing style with short chapters, multiple point of views and a lot of moving pieces about love, loss and legacy. Highly recommend!
- What I’m reading now: At Your Best. I was looking for something to help me switch up my approach to managing tasks throughout my workday and so far, I’m enjoying this. It reminds me a lot of Dan Pink’s When (a book I LOVED) as it focuses on how to match tasks to your unique energy levels throughout the day.
- Speaking of books… just saw that Elin Hilderbrand’s Five-Star Weekend is being made into a series starring… Jennifer Garner (as Hollis if you read the book)! Excited about this as I really enjoyed that book.
- Matt and I are so excited The White Lotus is back! Are you watching this season?
- Love Jessie Randall’s (of the brand Loeffler Randal) Substack and had fun reading about the 12 things she won’t travel without. Picking up a couple of these tips for my next trip…
- It’s after Valentine’s Day, but I couldn’t resist sharing… love this illustration.
- If you need a smile today, watch this 🙂
Picture of the Week

Saw this on a walk around the neighborhood last week. Brightening winter up!
