What is Megan’s Monday Motivation?

Megan’s Monday Motivation is a resource to get you fired up for Monday.

It is a weekly e-newsletter delivered at 6 AM EST every Monday with the goal of motivating you to own your Monday. Each week’s newsletter will also be posted to this website every Monday afternoon.

Each week’s e-newsletter includes the following:

  1. Three actionable steps to a better Monday.
  2. A lesson I learned last week and how I am using it to set my intention for the week ahead.
  3. A roundup of positive, fun, thought-provoking stories, ideas or random thoughts to make you smile.

Why did you start Megan’s Monday Motivation?

Mondays are my favorite day of the week. Why? Am I a crazy person? Potentially, but let me make my case… Monday sets the tone for the rest of your week. And I believe owning your Monday has compounding effects. Own your Monday, own your week. Own your week, own your year. Own your year, own your LIFE! Somewhat of an exaggeration? Yes, but a hopeful thought 🙂 

In all seriousness, I try to wake up every Monday excited to take on a new week. And I want to share what I do to obtain that feeling with others in hopes it inspires you to be excited about taking on a new week.

“To motivate” means to stimulate someone’s enthusiasm for doing something. So think of this newsletter as just your friend Megan, sharing some motivation with you in the hopes that something I say resonates with you and helps you decide to have a great Monday.

Will the information I be sharing be life changing or groundbreaking? No. It will just be like if we worked together or were roommates or commuted together and I was able to tell you about my weekend and what I’m excited for this week in the hopes that you would do the same.
