Megan's Monday Motivation

Monday, 11/25/24: Talking about what’s on my radar this morning

Happy Monday!

It’s a new week, which means it’s time for your next Monday motivation newsletter.

Read on below for some steps to a happier Monday and some positive thoughts to get your week started.

Three Steps to a Happier Monday

Each newsletter starts with three prompts to inspire gratitude and simple intention setting. Take a moment and jot down answers to these three questions. To give an example, I share my answers below.

Step 1: What are three things I appreciated from the weekend?

Step 2: What is one thing I can be excited about today?

Step 3: What is my intention for this week?

GRATITUDE: I’m thankful for a fun Saturday in Gainesville, a special delivery yesterday and time with family.

TODAY: I’m most excited for a wedding-related meeting I have after work today.

INTENTION: My intention this week is to write down a list of things I’m thankful for each day (had to!).

Okay, your turn! And if you want to share your three steps, I am all ears. 🙂

On My Monday Radar

Some Mondays, we aren’t ready to jump into our to-do list right away. In case you want some content to procrastinate with, here’s a roundup of a few positive things on my radar. Hope you enjoy! Happy Thanksgiving week! In honor of the gratitude-filled holiday, I thought I would do something a little different this morning.

Below is a list of tangible, link-able, gift-able things I’m thankful for. I’m thankful for much more than this, of course, but I thought this would be a fun way to highlight some of the little things I’m grateful for. Hope you enjoy!

I’m thankful for…

  • The tools that make reading so easy and so enjoyable, like my KindleAudible for audiobooks, Book of the Month subscription and LIBBY for renting free books digitally from the library (the best!!).
  • Possibly one of my best purchases of the year… OOFOS recovery sandals. I initially bought for my mom to help with her lower back pain, and when she raved about them, I got a pair for myself. Love wearing after runs and while I do things around the house. They really do reduce stress on your joints!
  • My Nespresso Vertuo Plus, which makes my beloved coffee oh so much more deliciousMelozio remains my favorite pod, though I also love their seasonal offerings as well!
  • My Dry Bar round brush blow dryer – I’ve had mine for years and just love it!! I find it works best when your hair is almost dry, so I still use a regular blow dryer first, followed by this one for styling purposes.
  • Goes along with my blow dryer… this Tangle Teezer hair brush. It’s so effective at detangling and styling without any of the pulling or tugging.
  • The blogs I love to read. It’s such a nice way to ease into my day or fun reading entertainment during a lunch break. The ones I keep up with religiously include Cup of JoRising Shining and Magpie.
  • Anthropologie holiday cups!! From the holiday in the city line to these festively adorable coupe glasses, they all just make me so happy.
  • Minted! It’s been my go-to during this year of wedding planning from our invitations, save-the-dates, custom monogram, website, thank-you notes and more. Will definitely be using Minted for card and stationary needs moving forward. Love their selection and ability to customize almost anything.

Thankful for all of you as well and you spending time to read this each week! Hope you have a great Thanksgiving week ahead.

That’s all for today! I hope you found something in today’s newsletter that sparked motivation, made you smile or inspired a positive Monday thought. Don’t underestimate the power of starting small… a fulfilling week starts with just one fulfilling day. You’ve got this!

Let’s make it a great Monday!
